Crestabond M1-04SL Structural Adhesive

Crestabond M1-04SL is a dark grey, toughened, two component 10:1 acrylic adhesive designed for bonding composites, thermoplastics and metals. This new generation of structural methacrylate adhesive meets the bonding requirements of most assembly operations. Demonstrating excellent impact, peel, shear, compressive strength, and fatigue resistance properties across all bonded parts.

M1-04SL self-levelling adhesive is used for potting and bonding purposes in EV-batteries and is suitable for applications in all market segments where self-levelling properties are required.

Scott Bader’s new generation of structural methacrylate adhesives meet the bonding requirements of most assembly operations. As a result this product demonstrates excellent impact, peel, shear, compressive strength and fatigue resistance properties across all bonded parts. As a result this product is useful for bonding, repairing and constructing kayaks, super yachts, buses, coaches, cars, trains, trucks, doors, windows, cladding, blades, housing, nacelles, motorhomes, caravans, tractors, diggers, off-road and combine harvesters plus many other applications.

This adhesive should be used at workshop temperatures (18-25°C); and due to its 10:1 curing grade, this product can be handled in under three minutes, which ensures the user time and cost savings.

Directions for Use

1. Ensure that there are no traces of oil, grease or dirt on surfaces to be bonded.

2. Dispense the adhesive via manual or pneumatic dispensing gun

3. Dispense initially onto a non-bonding surface until the mixed bead colour is uniform.

4. Mate parts within the working time of the product and clamp properly to prevent joint movement.
